Its early days but the smoking ban in public bars /restaurants is already cheesing me off! lol
Whats the smoking situation like in Aus?

Havent been to oz for a year,
but from what i remember, you cant smoke anywhere near the bar (to protect the staff)
and some pubs you can only smoke in designated areas,
but that was a year ago, may be banned completely now

just checked with hubbie - a smoking aussie


In sydney anyway he says that in most pubs you can only smoke in the seperate area where the pokie machines are (like fruit machines)
and that its banned in restaurants altogether - sorry

He does however say that your allowed to smoke in the beer garden if pub/restaurants got one

A seperate area is fine :) Im just sad they didnt do that here...
Such is life tho, will be interesting what they target next???
I do undersatnd it from a non smokers POV it is a horrible habit.
However i think its the thin edge of the wedge... maybe im just a cynical smoker :D lol

4) Loose weight
5) Stop smoking

Hi Fee dont worry about 1 just do 3 which takes care of that

you can do 4 and 5 if you get fit instead of smoking or eating use fitness as displacement activity:thumbsup:

or just have a glass of water instead of a fag craving wears off in the time it takes to drink it and you are so full of water you dont want to eat :thumbsup:
