Yeah, but I bet you'd like to ;) I don't think I'd smack/hit a kid but I do think there's a difference between that and a sharp tap - for eg to prevent a dangerous situation. I think discipline is the key - in the form of sticking to what you say and always following through. I know someone (certainly not naming any names) who has spent the last 10 years not following through on threats and letting their children run rings around them and always get their own way - and they wonder why the kids are now little sh*ts :sneaky: |
