when all your friends leaving for overseas, and you family is different parts of the world?

Do something else. Not much point putting a tree up or having christmas dinner. I'll be doing a photography road trip starting with a time lapse of the blue mountains. I feel it's best to forget about it being christmas if you have no plans to celebrate it. Just think of it as time off and spend it as you wish. Otherwise it will be a bloody depressing time.

Buy yourself something yummy to eat... rent DVD's... sleep in... ring family/friends... buy yourself a present that will keep you occupied.

i've book a flight to new zealand and will do random stuff there (including maybe flitring with kiwis)

I know single guys who find themselves an adoptive family for Christmas then come round and eat us out of house and home.....
