I went with three as well on a recent trip. you can buy them at the airport from vending machines or on the high street.
I got mine here for $45 so that I could go live as the plane landed
Arrived in the post in a couple of days.

Plus when I was there if you recharged 20 pounds you got unlimited data.

I ordered mine from here Three UK Sim Card with £20 Credit Official Trio Sim for All Phones | eBay
I activated it about a week before I left from my computer in Canada. If you don't have a computer, use your smartphone, or whatever you are using to get on BE.
