I love the way traffic lights reflect in wet roads at night...the smell of puppies... and fluffy yellow ducklings with little waxy beaks.

What are some of your simple pleasures?

Mine is sat in my back yard with a glass of wine in one hand, and a good book in the other.

Also, driving to work with my radio on loud and the windows up so I can sing my head off

The Wife

Mine is the first drink after work on a Friday, with the whole weekend stretching out in front of me - definitely my favourite time of the week

not a deep fried battered Mars Bar

Oooh.... cheeky Never had one! Quite partial to a deep fried black pudding though - could probably call this a guilty pleasure

I have, bloody minging

personally like the smoked sausage and cheesy chips combo from my old chippy in Kilwinning

Oh yes chips and cheese (another guilty pleasure) - especially at the end of a night on the bevvy. The chippy wasn't Aldos by any chance?

A cup of earl grey tea first thing in the morning.

Walking out after a night shift to brilliant sunshine and the screech of the kookies..

Fresh coffee every morning
Smell of fresh bread
The smell of rain after a hot spell
Kicking dried leaves in the autumn
Getting into a freshly changed bed
Watching the kids playing nicely together

I'd go with that one - but substitute bath for back yard, and add some huge fluffy towels for afterwards.

Another one for me - slobby Sundays, where we loll about all day in our jammies and I make the kids do the cooking.
