I fail to see the difference between a mandatory [Full Face] Motorcycle helmet & the Afghan style Burqa in terms of reduced vision:confused: It's something you learn to accommodate i.e more head movement;)

You would probably get done wearing just a burqa on a bike.

If visibility is greatly reduced, like wearing a very dark tinted visor, then probably.

No sh*t Sherlock, that's why I had to clarify "in terms of reduced vision"
Couple the visor with a pair of sunnies & you'd need a guide dog riding pillion.http://www.aaanything.net/wp-content..._motorbike.jpg

24:31 And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only that which is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms, and not to reveal their adornment save to their own husbands or fathers or husbands' fathers, or their sons or their husbands' sons, or their brothers or their brothers' sons or sisters' sons, or their women, or their slaves, or male attendants who lack vigour, or children who know naught of women's nakedness.

I think adornment means "private parts".

Same applies to men as well. Just the verse before that one -

24:30 Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: And Allah is well acquainted with all that they do.

An Adornment is generally an accessory or ornament worn to enhance the beauty or status of the wearer. [Source]

I saw a woman in a white burqa at Logan hyperdome. A small child pointed at her and said to his mum, "look, Casper the ghost"

And the latest......New South Wales police conducting routine car stops will be given the power to demand the removal of head coverings for identification.

Premier Barry O'Farrell says cabinet approved the move on Monday so police could properly identify motorists or any other people suspected of committing a crime.

"I don't care whether a person is wearing a motorcycle helmet, a burka, niqab, face veil or anything else, the police should be allowed to require those people to make their identification clear," he said in a statement. "I have every respect for various religions and beliefs but when it comes to enforcing the law the police should be given adequate powers to make a clear identification."
