Default Shipping Hoverboard to Australia

Having trouble finding a company that will ship a hoverboard. Has anyone had any success with this? DHL, UPS will not allow.

I was under the impression that even airlines will refuse to take them onboard.

Here's there technical reason and answer https://www.iata.org/whatwedo/cargo/...cles-cargo.pdf and more info can be found through IATA for shipping any Dangerous Goods here https://www.iata.org/whatwedo/cargo/...batteries.aspx .

Essentially you would have to get someone to get it for you overseas and then lodge it for shipment with a Freight Forwarder who can arrange DG Certification for the UN code stated in the .pdf link above. DHL/Fedex etc will not accept the shipment without DG Certification under the IATA Cargo regulations and DG Manual. The last time I arranged DG Certification for a single item it was about A$120-150.

Think you may have to buy locally.
