I want to ship back a few pieces of my Mums furniture and around 30 boxes of childhood 'stuff' in a few weeks time
Is a shared container the way to go?
Has anyone had a good recent experience with sending just a few packing boxes through??
I was going to stick with Pickfords as they've seen us through two house moves now.
Any thoughts on how best to do this, not bothered about how quick they get here.
Thanks

We shared a container in 2002 when we first went out - it was quite a bit cheaper but took a very long time to arrive!!!! Around 24 weeks.... On the way home we had half a container, not much more but arrived in 12 weeks. We have also packaged up small bundles of furniture (e.g 4ft x 3ft x 4ft) and it cost about £400 each bundle - this was with backpacker style shippers and they collect and deliver to the door the other end. Depends on the size as a bundle really

Hi
We had a shared container when we shipped some of our stuff from UK to Aus. We used Crown Relocations, the shipping time took awhile because had to wait for the shared container to be full.
Everything was fine though and all arrived in one piece
