One tip I got from a Naturopath was that Fluffy bread makes you fat. If you are going to eat bread make sure it's a nice dense Rye or wholegrain.

When the waistband starts getting tighter either cut down on food consumption or increase exercise. If you've had a big splurge the day before, cut down the day after .. that kind of thing.
If you think you can't have something, it's going to make you want it even more!
I have found bread to be a bit dodgy on my digestive system, so I try and avoid it as much as possible (though falter a couple of times a week as I love it!).
Good luck!

Drink loads of water - and I mean at least 3 litres in the day time.
Small portions or good healthy food
I find that doing WW I have a supply of no point stuff in the house:-
carrots
tomatoes
pickled onions
mushrooms

Break the day into three 8 hour sessions, midday to midday.
Session 1, midday to 8pm, eat two regular meals, lunch and dinner. Must be finished eating by 8pm.
Session 2: 8pm to 4am. Nothing to eat. Drink water, tea etc.
Session 3: 4am to midday. Eat only fruit, as much as you like, no bananas.
Work a bit more exercise into your daily routine.

I lost 10 kilos in 5 weeks with a Naturopath before my last pregnancy. Too expensive though. My Mum lost 50 kilos in a year with Dr Cohen's. Both advocate cutting down on the carbs and upping the natural fruit & Veg.
