I bet they are more concerned than they were. They would be quite happy with stable dictatorships near by. Now they are getting more of an unknown quantity.

Exactly. This is why the Egyptian army will not allow a fundamentalist mussie government to take over. A muslim army equiped with armoured divisions and a modern airforce on their border would be intolerable to the Israelis and would force them to act pre-emptively - with massive force.

Should have a look on the American Boards.... I've seen chats on our London board from US residing posters suggesting there is a possibility of extreme civil unrest or even a civil War.... Tparty/Palin types v Obama AKA the Government... It's not travelling well at all presently the US.

Not saying it's going to happen but these recent events could also spread to a country like China. It is after all a dictatorship, many people are repressed, it has a large young population who are social network savvy. Who can tell? The consequences for the rest of the world would be enormous.
