In the UK we're more used to seeing hail in winter...but here it is more of a summer thing...like Xmas day in Melbourne 2 years ago! Don't think the UK is prone to the kind of golf balls we get here sometimes as well!

Definitely not the norm in Cornwall although I do remember having them in 1969.
