couldn't get a Dr in Oz to say I was fit to fly so decided to use my UK docs from the flight out!
Did anyone ask to see them? NO
Did anyone comment on the syringes and needles in my bag? NO
they could have contained anything and noone noticed! I was a bit shocked I had thought I might be slung in an arabian jail and warned everyone I might need a cake with a file in it!
what a let down! needn't have worried!
I could have stood up and said I had a new supervirus or something in the syringe and hi jacked the plane! hey I could have made them take me to standstead instead of heathrow!

Actually I think there are a few simple ways to get past security. Do babies bottles ever get checked? The last time I flew through England, we got all sorts taken off us because they were in bottles larger than 50ml or whatever. We also had grief because we absolutely could only carry-on one bag - not even a small camera bag could be carried separately. Then on the same flight, we saw a couple with a baby carrying 3 bags each, one of them with 3 250-350ml babies bottles in!!

Ahh yes! I had a similar thing when I cam back to Aus. My GP in UK gave me 6mths supply of al my medications. As I take 7 different types a day you can imagine the amount of boxes!! Took up two whole layers of my suitcase. I was worried sick I would be interrogated about them all. So much so that at every security point from London, Abu Dhabi and then Sydney I made a point of tleling anyone who would listen that I had drugs in my suitcase..pmsl
Well it worked coz not one of them anywhere was in the slightest bit interested.

God knows what the people on the flight thought but from the way they looked at me they were expecting my skin to start bubbling and the monster emerge any minute!

well the other passengers on the flight steered well clear of me! I injected myself and was given a sealed glass receptacle such as they use for lethal viruses in films then I was given a huge bag with Biohazard written in red all over it to place the container in magically the rest of my row emptied and i got lots of space

Funnily enough both to and from UK I got a whole row of 4 seats to myself. Maybe they xrayed and saw them all thinking i must be dreadfully sick

luckily a Dr was on board so they did it as I think the patient would rather have died than let me near them
and hey that GP was much better qualified than a respiratory specialist nurse yeah
