Has anyone ever booked one, was it good?
Do you know a way to work out which hotel it's going to be? I tried googling the brief descriptions but didn't find out anything.
Thanks.

We stayed at a 5* Secret Adelaide hotel once. There are only about four 5* hotels in Adelaide anyway and we would have been happy with any of them so it wasn't too much of a risk.
Turned out to be the Hilton and it was absolutely fine (and very reasonably priced

Stayed at a wotif secret hotel in Sydney recently and it was very good (better than the one on a previous visit which had been intentionally booked!). I too tried googling the brief description but there are altogether too many 4* places in Sydney. I'd be happy to do it again

I've done it on Wotif - 1 in Perth, The Hilton which was fine considering what we paid for it and 1 in Singapore, which was also very good.

Good experiences all round then, that's good.

I was about to bag one - you didn't have to be Sherlock Holmes to work out the identity of some of these hotels - I left it late one morning and it was gone by the time I came back.
I reckon it's a good idea.
I went for another one and we got a good place for less than 200 dollars.
If you scour other sites, you can find listings for good hotels for similar rates.
