Been in Brisbane a while now and do hear the Scottish accent from time to time, but where are you all hiding? I hear you lot don't go to many of the meet ups so do you all join the celtic/ rangers brisbane clubs? Or do you embrace aussie life and befriend fellow aussies?

Not really imo.
Nothing is as good as the real thing, so the appeal is pointless to me. Went to take the kids, but wouldn't go again I don't think.
Also, the Scottish/Celtic gifts on sale are extortionately priced. It's far easier to get someone to pick them up for pennies back home and post them over.
I will say one positive thing about the whole day though and it is that the entire event is very well organised indeed, very family orientated and I never saw one drunken bum/arsehole loudmouth attempting to ruin anything. (so definately knew I wasn't in Scotland, therefore a waste of time
).
