..Thats my eldest will stay in year 5 .....


But my little fella will go back into year 2........





My little man ...smiled and said he liked year 2 better anyway ...bless him.


I am really pleased , i have the school i want, in the area i want...

Something positive to look forward to now .....

Yeahhhhhh 8 weeks today im gonna be.......................so jealous that you are going and im not...

Really glad that you have the school you want, thats the biggest worry isnt it. As long as the children are happy then anything else that comes along can be dealt with.


Good luck.
I think my 9 year old will have to drop down a year but she'll live. my eldest will jump up to year 10 and shes estatic. Middle one stays the same. and youngest will go into preprimary.


Im am jealous i wont deny...but my turn will come...........eventually.

We have be at this for years and i so cannot believe we are finally here....feels kind of wierd at the same time.

What stage are you at with your Visa and where are you heading ?

we also go in 9 weeks and have just received e-mail from school to confirm kids have places when we arrive ! daughter is gutted that she will remain in yr 6 was hoping to be in yr 7 but son is made up he is still in yr2 as he loves yr2 bit of a pressure reliever to know kids are sorted at least .

We have just sent police checks to agent to forward on and the hospital has just sent meds to LCU.
We are going to Perth/WA. Probably Ellenbrook i think.

8 weeks today
They'll be just fine. Don't think of it as keeping them back, think of it as them going into the year they are supposed to be in here. The numbers mean nothing, it's just different to what you are used to that's all.

You'll probably find they may have covered some subjects, whichever year they go into, but then there is stuff that they will learn here that they wouldn't learn in the UK too. Plus it gives them time to settle in and concentrate on making friends
