Sounds like the right butcher as The fudge shop owner mentioned he was ex Melton Mowbray. Will ask next time we go and post here.

OK wondered. He does the farmers markets too. Had some before (when I can be bothered to get up early). Very good they are too.:D

When I lived in London I used to get sausages from this place all the time

They werefabulous. But the best bit was that they did the best vegetarian sausages I've ever tasted, in 'real' (veggie) skins too. Bit of a long shot I guess, but has anyone stumbled on a place that does similar veggie sausages in Australia (ideally Victoria) ?
