Default Sam, the kaola

Saw a picture at work of a little kaola that had been found in the burnt out areas roaming alone and being given water by a fire fighter.
Just seen an update on the news, she has been taken to a rescue centre where her burns are being treated, and will be kept there for 7 months until she heals...................so very sad...............I wish I could be there to help in some way

I saw that too

Just been watching ACA where they were talking to some teenage girls who'd been texting goodbye to each other. I still can't watch these reports without ending in tears. Friends of ours over there, their teenage son has lost a school friend

I am as soppy as you Oldfield, cry at the blink of an eye, with the animals it has really got to me so have donated to them already this morning. Just like you, wish I was closer so I could lend a hand.
