Salute to an Australian doing good work.
I posted this in the lounge, but thought this would be a good place too.
Scott Jeppeson, a guy who used to teach at the same place with me, is an Ausie living here in Peru and doing great work through an organization that he started. Sonrisas en Peru. Smiles in Peru. The organization works with children in need, and there are more than enough of them. The work includes assisting an orphanage, Westfalia Orphanage, about an hour and a half from Lima, as well as programs in Cusco and a few other areas.
I am attaching a link to the webpage with information about the organization and there is a link there to their facebook page. The program is always in need and anyone who so desires, please help. I'm going to the orphanage this weekend and plan to get as involved as much as possible with the program. There is a donation button, if you are so inclined.
