Dear BE chums
I just thought I would write to tell you of my medical mishap caused (in my opinion and because I am looking for someone to blame) by that evil miscreant Rugbymatt.
Last night whilst OH was downstairs cooking curry for dinner, I thought I would jump online and speak to my chums and send Rugbymatt a message. Two minutes later I snuck back downstairs.....
...Unfortunately, I slid in my stocking feet on the carpeted stairs and rammed my feet into the metal bannister. OH looked at my damaged foot and seeing that I had managed to nearly rip my middle toe off gulped 'I think this might be a hospital job, love'.
I arrived at Austin Mercy at 8pm and was finally allowed to go home at 6am this morning. Yes, 10 hours in Casualty.
I am the proud recipient of:
1. a Tetanus jab
2. 4 jabs in my foot
3. 7 stitches
4. Quite a lot of pain
5. A heavily bandaged foot
No Hurstbridge festival for me today then.....
Let this be a warning for the rest of you sneaky posters out there.
PS Never did get to eat that curry and was starving all night.
