Today i met the rudest woman i've ever had the misfortune to come across.

I went to the doctors to get help for an ongoing back problem. And the doctor told me to stop wasting her time, she'd seen backs far worse than mine and it was all in my head. I mentioned that i'd been to a physio and she basically said what he had told me was rubbish and they have to come up with some mumbo jumbo to make me feel better. Its wear and tear, so get over it!

To say i was flabbergasted is an understatement.

She showed me the door and told me i had to hurry up and go for an x-ray as she was busy and must get on.

Hey, at least she sent you for an xray. So is 'it' in your head or your back?

Its definately in my head moneypenny, i actually screwed the A4 sheet of paper up for the x-ray and threw it in her face in front of a very full surgery, at which point she told me to leave and never come back again, friggin witch!

I then went to a different doctors surgery and got an x-ray.

Well she won't be practicing on me anymore thats for sure. I was actually warned about seeing a DOCTOR about my back because apparently not many of them know much about them.

Maybe her failings meant she didn't know what to say so she told me it was all in my head instead.

Obviously got off the wrong side of her broomstick this morning.

Even good GP's don't know about every condition, but if she had no idea what was wrong with you, she should have said so and either told you to come back if it was still bothering you in a week so she could get some more cash out of you, or referred you on to someone who knows what they're talking about. I hate rude doctors!!

To be honest she's probably the only one i've ever met who was blatantly rude. Others might fob you off with a smile but she was just a waste of air.

Ah for a moment I thought you moved to my new neighbourhood in Sydney, I have never come across bunch of rude people in my life.

If you have a complaint then do something about it. No sense venting here if you're going to let her get away with the same behaviour with the next patient.

Hi, not sure where you are but having had a bad back myself I can give you a recommendation for a great doctor 'back specialist' in Brisbane. He is superb!

They have the HICAPS swipe system if you have Private Health cover. If not I think it was $120 - worth every penny to me, first person to accurately diagnose my problem and give me worthwhile advice and rehabilitation prospects etc.

He is very thorough and I spent at least 45 minutes with him going through the issues and how they could be treated and managed. He saved me from back surgery!

It may seem expensive but I didn't appreciate how much living pain free, walking and sleeping were worth til I couldn't do them anymore!
