MISANDRY!

He is our PM and you need to show him more respect I think Rudd being PM will disprove that only Gillard got flack as a PM.

Seriously though hopefully Rudd can get on with sorting out the mess that is Labor! Big job on his hands!

A bare faced liar, or a bare faced liar, quite a choice
Completely disagree!
He deliberately did not stand in March so that people would not think he was a <snip>. He did the right thing.

As far as I am concerned, the fact his party did in fact want him, and looked to him to save the election, meant, he was, moreorless, 'drafted' by popular demand. He did not want to be seen to suddenly contest, or threaten for the leadership - he wanted to come back by demand. The mechanism by which this might happen was always going to be a hard one. If I am not mistaken, Gillard called for a spill in the Caucas meeting knowing she did not have the credibility and that he did.

I just saw this picture on news.com and then I googled images of "kevin rudd & julie bishop" (You too can do this).

One of the pictures that came up was linked to this article.

How hard can the Opposition go after the PM if they've had "wine together"?

Didn't work, he's still a c@@t, they were his words not mine, and he clearly does take lightly what he insisted he didn't. Only reason he didn't contest in March was because he stood a chance of losing, nothing to do with political morals (aint that one of them oxymoron things?) or not wanting to look a twat. He's as bad as her, this country deserves far better than the lying, incompetent idiots on offer.

Agree - but I think we might get some debate before the election.
Rudd is going well in the house as I speak(!)

Finally. It won't please Abbott to have to reveal some policy now. Unlikely to be the white wash the Conservatives were hoping on.
Good for politics and good for Australia.

Exactly how it happened. Gillard called it and she lost.

You are assuming he will.

I think abbott's been told in no uncertain terms "keep your mouth shut if you want to be oberfuhrer". Things will remain as sh*t slinging unless someone can force him to admit to what he's got planned - and who can do that?

Hell, the "NBN-lite" and "Northern special economic zone" announcements hardly covered the libs in glory - and that's what they thought were their best bits.

He had a bemused look on his face today in the house.
Rudd actually looked like he was on fire!
