He suffers major depression ... when that strikes it doesn't matter how much money you have in the bank or how fab your life may be.

I suppose money makes it worse in one way as he can afford to buy as much crap as he wants to drown his sorrows with ... its sad

I think the root of his problem is that he won't come out and say he is gay.
He's living a lie - probably worried his career will go down the swanney as most of his fans are women in their 30's who fancy him.
