Great atmosphere combined with a great result Not a great performance mind you .Finishing was woeful to say the least and i doubt whether i've seen a team trying to walk the ball into the net as often as the Roar does I think a shooting coach is desperately needed at the club

My exact words to my mate I went with! They just wanted to walk the ball into the net every time.

That Solorzano fella was hopeless, a complete liability. I said that in the semi final and assumed Henrique would replace him for the final so was shocked when he played the full 90.

You wouldn't have wanted to be one of those few thousand people that left before we scored the first goal!

Watched the second half and beyond via a 'net stream and ABC radio ... Sounded like a good finish to a game played in the best spirit, I particularly liked the players shaking hands before the shootout.

Good to see season-long form has won out in the end.
