Re: RIP Robin Williams
So sad. RIP
My first intro to him was in Mork and Mindy.
Will be sadly missed.

Very sad. Most of his recent work was rubbish, but at his peak he was untouchable. Not only his were his comedy roles and stand up hilarious, but he was an under-rated emotional actor too.

yes yes yes, whole heartedly agree. I may be alone in this, but I thought he was brilliant in Hook, that is one of my all time favourites.

Seemed like a very nice genuine guy, the world will be a worse place without him.

Statement by the U.S. President on the Passing of Robin Williams
":Robin Williams was an airman, a doctor, a genie, a nanny, a president, a professor, a bangara...ng Peter Pan, and everything in between. But he was one of a kind. He arrived in our lives as an alien – but he ended up touching every element of the human spirit. He made us laugh. He made us cry. He gave his immeasurable talent freely and generously to those who needed it most – from our troops stationed abroad to the marginalized on our own streets. The Obama family offers our condolences to Robin’s family, his friends, and everyone who found their voice and their verse thanks to Robin Williams."

He was superb in DPS. He was also superb as the Genie in Aladdin.

Re: RIP Robin Williams
I'll spell it out MP.
Someone said that celebs topping themselves was accelerating (not in so many words). I morbidly added that it seemed a fad. (Morbid joke).
Celebrities have been topping themselves for years - against the odds - (or maybe not).
I am suggesting that of course, well I hope, that it is not a fad and the reason why famous people have been dying in tragic circumstances and get into the news is because they are famous.
If your neighbour was found dead it would not be remarkable perhaps.
'He was highly visible' : he was famous. Yes he was superb in many movies. He was a superb man.
