They should try me - my new phone line has the old number for a Brisbane motorbike shop, and I haven't given the nmber out to anyone I actually want to talk to cos they all ring my mobile.
So I know answer the phone with "I don't sell parts for bikes so if you want to buy a bikei please hang up now. Otherwise tell me where I'm meeting you and you can buy me a pint." Should sort out any health survey quite nicely

I'm wondering how many sick puppies will now turn this into a scam of sme kind - phoning up trying to find out personal info while pretending to be doing a health survey?

Haven't got a clue why anyone would divulge personal info over the phone to a total stranger anyway

I can't fathom either why cold calling charities expect you to just go grab your credit card details and start transferring monies over the phone too?...

And i really am not that cynical per say...

Strange thing is though that some people do divulge personal info, credit card details etc over the phone, don't they! Then wonder why they get scammed.
