Proper gammon, though I have now found a butcher in Warringah Mall who does it, but it is very expensive, so I only buy it at Christmas and Easter. He does lovely sausages too - employs an Irishman and an Englishman.

Ooo which butcher, we've just moved up near there and were in Warringah Mall last night. are the sausages gluten free too?

Yes but you will be able to make up for it with visits to Coles or Woolworths or Coles or Woolworths or Coles or Woolworths...

You will love fillets of kangaroo, vegemite on toast, milo and lamingtons and your affection for these antipodean delicacies may quickly make Waitrose nothing but a distant memory.

She's failing fast, quick, I need three cans of IrnBru, stat.

Yes- the Irish sausages are marked as GF (some other varieties are not).
He is the one down next but one to Woolies (there is a fish shop in between,) but I can't remember what he is called. The gammon is superb- proper English cured.

Great thanks. Not had gammon for a donkeys age, may have to be a treat.
Need to spend a day in there finding where everything is.

Marmite but mymate is a good if not exact substitute

Well I picked up "Marmite" in Woolies the other day, same label, jar etc, but when I read the back it said made in New Zealand. Tasted pretty much as I remembered it though.

Just realised I didn't have my reading glasses on at the time. It was called Mymate but it was still made in the UK and imported to Oz and NZ, so it is the original (and best!) Marmite.

Hi guys,

I just found a very interesting website with all my favourites. I received my Marrowfat peas and I am so happy. Shipping for Western Australia is very cheap.
