I need suggestions for an awesome destination that will minimise teenage 'eye-roll' whilst entertaining an 8 year old that also takes dogs............beach or bush, not fussed 4WD option = added bonus!

Anyone know of such a place? please

Probably too far south and not sure about Pets, however for the purposes of maybe others reading the thread.

The best caravan park I've ever stayed in was this one in Merimbula. Worth the long trip south maybe.... Unless the pet thing is a deal breaker.... they may even take them for all I know.

Big 4 Kiama. I've not stayed there but I did rent a house in the street leading down to it and it always looked OK and seemed popular. Bit of a pig to find and a SatNav would be very handy.

Big plus point is Kiama itself... pretty little town

Have a look at Manar Park, QLD - we've not been yet but kids are really keen. Looks a great idea for teenagers if into 4WD etc
