This was a book I was supposed to read in school which I was to lazy to. So, thought I'd read it now ahead of watching the movie

Loved The Hobbit. Could not get into LOTR and haven't seen the movies because of it.

I LOATHE Tolkein.... Had a teacher in third year juniors whom I hated who loved them.... Every frickin opportunity he got he would bore us to tears reading it ...sounded like cardboard, felt like some one dragging their fingernails down the blackboard (ok, so it was green, but we still called it a blackboard in those days, being inherently racist)

I brought a $2 bag of bubblegum clouds from red dot... They have vanished.... Kids tell me they opened the bag and they just floated away....:frown:

OH has gone to Melbourne for the work's christmas party. DD has swim club party after schol today. I actually have a mahjong party this morning- and it isn't december yet. I don't feel like going though- a bit dizzy and crampy legs. I think it might be too much of an effort to scrape myself together and then actually have a conversation with real people. I'll see what a dose of neurofen does for the headache before I decide. Got eczema all round my eyes, so not exactly an attractive look.
