Lol....good idea I saw some photos from work today (I worked on the railway) and the tunnel on my patch has a massive icicle! Its insane! Glad im not at work there this week.

Aw, there's not much you can say to someone who is suffering homesickness other than to give a little nudge on what they're missing. Not sure what it's like in Lancs at the moment, but here it's pants. The snow is melting and flooding some places and there's bloody horrible black slush everywhere. If it freezes tonight, it's going to be ice rink time again. The UK is great in many ways, but the weather really is cack! Also, everyone is just sooo miserable and moany. Chin up, stay positive and drink .... heavily if necessary. Tomorrow will be better.

All the snow has gone and it is persisting down,,,,stay in the warm

Yep Neil, persistent precipitation here in K*nt too - & the piles of black slush everywhere

Stick in there Taryn, everyone has bad days & it's no good other people telling you to cheer up, or forget it, it seems to be a stage that everyone simply has to go through before they start to feel settled.

One day at a time, seems to be the experience of others I know in your situation & eventually, the good days start out numbering the ones where you think about home.
