I'm very pleased to announce the safe arrival of Callum, who was born on 8th January at 4pm, after a four hour labour. He's 56cm long and weighs in at a very healthy 5.22kg (11 pounds 8 ounces). And in response to the questions I usually get asked on imparting that news: nope, he wasn't a c-section, just a normal delivery. Nope, I didn't use any pain relief. No, not even gas and air.
There were some issues after his birth which led to him having a short spell in the RPA's high dependency unit. But that's all sorted and we're back at home now. :) |
Re: Quick announcement
Congratulations! Well done on a natural birth without any pain relief! Were you out of your mind?!?!

Even if I wasn't in labour, I'd have a blast of gas and air
When I had an epidural with my 1st I thought G&A was rubbish but on the 2nd when I only had G&A I realised just how fab it is!! |

I would have offered you some if you were there for Butter Bean's birth!
What silly husband would say no to the offer?! Oh, that's right, I'm married to one! Mrs JTL |
