Are Queenslanders mad?

Re: Are Queenslanders mad?
I would ideally wake up at 8am and go to bed at 11pm. I am neither fat nor obese and I certainly don't spend my days doing sod all.
That post does you no favours.

Re: Are Queenslanders mad?
Just because some people prefer to get up later rather than at 4am to go for a walk doesn't mean they are going to be some fat obese person (if one is obese presumably you don't need to mention they are fat as well and not all fat people are obese). Nor does it mean they do sod all.

It's clear that I didn't mean you had to get up at 4am to not be obese.
Ultimately you do what you can in the time that suits you...for many in QLD that is their option - clearly. It's no accident.

A lot of British are night owls. And a lot of Queenslanders are morning people, and therefore mad.
It's interesting that when people rise at daybreak and retire at sunset, they are considered mad, but only by those who would rather be tied to fixed unnatural times, instead of natures time....

We've even invented the lightbulb so we can stay awake after it goes dark outside. And then we've invented these weird things like television to entertain us even when its dark. Someone apparently has invented an interweb thing where people can talk.
Yet in QUEENSLAND we have tons of freaks who get up at 4am , and thier kids, and go for runs and look smug.
I'll just say, I was wide awake when I was walking my dog at 5am, but not happy about being wide awake. The amount of people who were waving at me and trying to talk to me was unreal. Like I'd just joined the "psychos who get up at 4am" club.
Jeez why don't they buy a lightbulb, and some curtains. And invest in a tv, for evening entertainment.
Oh thats right, the Sun

You have emphasised my point. We are humans. We've developed beyond nature.

But I don't feel that anyone is mad because they are not the same as me
And exercise for me is searching for the TV remote controls

Actually you will never get me going out at that god awful unearthly hour, it's normally about 10 am before I like to be available to the outside world...

OK I wake up at 5am every morning.. can't say I go walking "anything" at that time of night or day (dependin on your view point!)...
I do, however, go walking on the beach most mornings at 7.30am.. if people talk to me (as they usually do) I try my best to engage them in a lot of conversation... if they ignore me, I do my best to annoy and attempt to talk to them...hahaha! If they definately ignore me then ho hum... ce la vie!
I love the whole concept of "up early out doors"... if you seriously ask the question are queenslanders mad.. then my answer would be.. yep, I seriously hope so.. I do so much better with lunatics.. mad people really float my boat! haha! seriously, they do! I am drawn to them! Hence me working with Viv! lol!

No I did literally mean mad. Who gets up at 4am, wakes their kids up, and then takes them and the dog for a run.
And that goes for all the other mad idiots I met this morning. No-one with 2 functioning braincells would talk to me a 5am.:curse:. I wouldn't if I were me.

We live by a popular walkway and you can guarantee that someone will be on there before even the kookaburras wake up. It is quite refined though, they arrange ‘meet and greet’ mornings from time to time - you just have to ensure you are there at 6 am to socialise with everyone. And no never been because even if the big beastie wants to walk that time of a morning I definitely do not want to socialise. Yep definitely mad.

lol
Number 1 son - he has to be dragged from his pit screaming and shouting at about 10am.. he is 13
My little girl? She is happy go lucky whatever time she wakes up.. usually about 6am....
Of course, unless I get a serious black coffee I don't speak to either of my kids before 11.30am... unless I have to...
