Perhaps you should enlighten us all with what you think is happening.
Wear people down until they accept digital ID passports forever. |

I don't care if you get this nasty disease but I do care about the hospital workers and others you may infect. |

This will never end until we stop complying.

QR check in? Oh I remember those. Do you still have them in Queensland? Long gone here in Sydney.

Home grown veggies and the chooks keeping us going is a great thing for sure.
Somehow we got lucky and a random fox took our obnoxiously loud and unproductive rooster recently so that was good 😊 Egg production is on the up. It would be a shame to walk away from all this due to the ongoing COVID BS but I don’t rule it out in the medium term. My get outs are back to the UK or make a run for Texas where they seem to be on a less George Orwellian trajectory. F the Jab. |

Masks. Probably 80% of people. No problem with mask wearing to save Christmas for the kids and protect the elderly but they will disappear after Xmas Day. |

QR codes. Waste of time above 100 daily cases. Sadly I had to go to a Westfield today to shop. Yuck. No QR check ins. Went through 6 or 7 shops. Zero.

Until people stop the role playing it will never end. Apart from the vaxxer maxxer crowd I do believe broadly that most people have finally had enough of this nonsense and things will play out to an end next year. |

Separate discussion but face mask are useless. Except to remind us that we are in a "pandemic".

I take a less optimistic view of the people generally right now. They are too far gone, too in the trance of the mainstream narrative. They have become soft and compliant. For shame. |
Re: QLD Bunnings - Get a Jab with your Snag
Masks protect you from airborne viruses, as evidenced by a look at flu stats:
2019 Laboratory confirmed cases of influenza in Australia, 313,033. Deaths - 953 2020 Laboratory confirmed cases of influenza in Australia, 21,266. Deaths - 37 2021 (to 7 November) Laboratory confirmed cases of influenza in Australia, 598 Deaths - 0 Surprised and sad to see you sneering at people who don't have the same beliefs as you do, Dead Vim. It's possible to express your own views without insulting others (well, it doesn't seem to be possible for some people but you were never one of them). You used to be a lovely person to have a yarn with, such a great sense of humour and a 'live and let live' sort of person. You know, no matter what people are or aren't doing re. covid, we're all just doing what we think is best according to our own research and beliefs. |

Interestingly looking at the mortality rate of 2019 and 2020 the 598 flu cases in 2021 would only yield about 1 death. So 0 was pretty much bang on par. |

Seriously dude, speak for yourself and don't get stuck into those that don't agree with your standpoint. That you've not had any vaccinations is your indaba and nobody else's - just as those who have been vaccinated have made their own decisons. I'm a hard right-wing, conservative libertarian who hates big government, socialism, cancel culture and the current crazy for identity politics, and I believe in the power of the individual over the collective - but I also believe in medical science and that vaccination has made the world a far better and healthier place. I'm in no 'trance of the mainstream narrative' and have not become 'soft and compliant' - my decision to get vaccinated is my own choice and was made willingly and freely - and I think that you will find that this is the same for the majority. You've made your choice (more power to you), leave it at that
Peace |
