Talking Purple People?

Thought I would enquire as to how many of us are there out there that simply ADORE the colur purple.

My life is a purple pleasurable haze and I find that I am drawn towards all purple items. My friends never struggle to buy me gifts as anything purple brings a smile to my face.

Other people, however, have described my love of purple as an 'affliction'! It isn't! It is perfectly normal.

Are there any others out there who are 'normal'?

My favourite colour is blue followed closely by purple. Of all the colours those in their variety of shades will always make me happy. Apart from when they are bruises, then I'm not so fond of them but then they go that patriotic yellow and green stage, but still not a fan

Pink and black are the best colours for my clothes, though now the Aussie sun has had a go at my hair and skin, red or brown suits me better.
I like yellow for my kitchen and green for the library/study. Neutrals/cream for the bedroom, but jazzed up with the duvet cover to ring the changes.

Love gold as an accent colour too. Especially when it comes with diamonds!

Nice
although I never decorate with the colour - I do use it as a splash of colour in cushions, tablecloths, pillowcases, bed linen, etc...

When I wonder around shopping malls I hone in on purple like a bee to honey - it just draws me in....

I have several purple pairs of thongs (5) and purple boots, purple shoes, purple t-shirts, dresses, pants.........

I am drawn to pink, particularly raspberry pink- not the pastel shades at all though. At the last count I had 20 assorted pink tops/shits/fleeces, not including the summer stuff which still hasn't been taken out of the drawer. I also have 4 pink skirts and 2 pink pairs of shoes and one pair of pink thongs, and a pink handbag.

But I'm not a pink fluffy girl at all.

I'm pur-fectly normal! Surrounded by all things purple, from my phone to suitcases to shoelaces. My witchy hat and cloak are purple, my nail varnish is almost always a shade of purple, its just me.
There is no other colour worth talking about

Love purple and turquoise but never wear either. I was in the vanguard for both and can remember many decades ago only ever using purple or turquoise ink in my fountain pen. When the sparkly gel purples came out I was in my element!
