I thought about buying those purple carrots. Then I saw the price compared to normal carrots and decided it was a silly idea.

Ok just done a coles online thing. The purple ones are sold in little bunches for $2.98 a bunch and loose normal Carrots are $1.98 a kilo.
According to Coles, Bananas are currently $5.a kilo. I don't know how much the bunches of Purple Carrots are, I'd guess at about 300grams so Bananas (Loose per kilo) are currently cheaper than Purple Carrots (by the kilo).

I don't know, I don''t buy bananas. Surely they're not something you would get instead though? Hmmm what to have with lamb chops? Hmmmmm carrots I think. Actually, no bananas are cheaper, we'll have them instead???????

Anyways.....i cooked them with a dob of butter and a pinch of sugar and they tasted the same as normal carrots...... but they were very purply
