I have a sin procrastination
Brings me sorrow beyond explanation
So I made a small pledge
At this year's leading edge
To repent on my mid-year vacation

The best solution for procrastination is to offer yourself a reward of a new car if you finish what you need to do at work. Then you can head off to the dealership and enjoy your fantastic treat. Actually, you might as well leave at lunch time to get all that sorted as the dealership will be closed by 5pm. You'd hate to miss out on your fantastic gift to yourself. Your work is counting on it. Of course test driving your new wheels, getting you current own valued and sold, as well as signing all those forms takes a while. Best put off that work until a day when your schedule is free of the unavoidable distractions. Mondays are better for that sort of thing anyway.

Must admit procrastination at work is an issue for me.
I work on my own quite a bit these days and have my own office. People are often out in the field and if I am not out and about and I am in the office then I can often be the only person there! I think I could probably nip out for a 4 hour lunch and no one would be any the different to it.
I am in the position where I need to motivate myself, which I don't always find easy! I am the kind of person that needs a deadline or a bit of pressure from the boss.
Been thinking these last few months it is probably time to get a new job with a bit more life in it. Some people would probably pass 20 - 30 years happily like this, not me.

Nothing wrong with procrastination and putting off to tomorrow what you can do today- it just means that when you die you are only owing 1 day.
Small change.
Small change.
