Re: Price of cucumbers to drop................
I remember watching a doco once, where a group of ladies wot lunch from the Soil Association from South Ken were sitting around nibbling on a £10 loaf they'd just picked up from the local organic deli, musing over how frightful GM crops were and how those poor people in the third world would be better off without them.
Cut to scientist, who I think said, if you want everything to be grown organically, to get the required yield you're going to have to cover everything in 'two feet of shit!'. He specifically cited the ecoli risk. But he might have just made it to get a few $m's funding from Monsanto.

Ecoli is one of the risks of organic farming, allegedly.

Who eats cucumbers anyway?
Ream men don’t eat cucumbers. We don’t stick em up our rears either, which is probably where the problem originates from.
"Another cucumber sandwich with the crusts cut off Slappy?"
"No thanks Turbo Employer, and why are you walking funny?"

Organically grown Spirulina and Chlorella premium green food'
This is the advert google has 'thrown up' as best fitting for the thread. I couldn't have made that up. Well done Google.
