Even without 'windows' and PCs, boys were always able to arrange the imagery in such a way that the toss up was manageable over more than one.
And the true romantics used their imagination, of course.

Weird thing about that photo, took me a little while to realise. Richard Beckinsales death was a big shock to people in that it brought home that young people were not as immortal as we tended to think. Natural causes at age 32.

Weird thing about that photo, took me a little while to realise. Richard Beckinsales death was a big shock to people in that it brought home that young people were not as immortal as we tended to think. Natural causes at age 32.
