I am about to get my stuff ready and we shall make our way to the airport soon.

Then its back to reality as soon as I land at Heathrow.

Never mind. When I get in, I shall teach Abdel my Scottish words I have learned.

Sandra, Margaret and Gill, thank you for a great night out.

Did the picture of the man in the kilt turn out?

You can bet your life that when your friend gives you Scottish stuff to take back with you, that you are going to be searched by security.

Armed with Scottish rock, 2 fluffy pens in the shape of birds, some tartan type keyrings plus lots of dirty knickers that I had planned to wash when I got home, I really thought I had planned it all and had nothing illegal in my bags.

You know when you are going to get searched? Well I know and today was no exception.

Giving Sorchar my mascara as you cant take that on the plane, I said goodbye, took off my boots and belt as directed and went through security at Glasgow.

This very scary, short but scary all the same, security woman asked me to step aside, stand with my legs apart and arms out.

Bloody hell, I shouldnt have had that pint of lager with my meal, because I felt fatter than what I am and held in my stomach as she conducted her very thorough search/frisk of my body.

There is something not quite right about having someone in rubber gloves frisking so close to my beaver/bottom and I focused on the old man in front of me whilst she patted/felt and generally did her job about my person.

'Thank you' I said as she asked me to move on. Don't know why I bloody said thank you mind, rubber gloves have their place and it is not near my genitals at an airport.

'Is that your bag?' A strong Scottish voice barked at me.

'Sweet Jesus, this is not my day' I muttered.

'Yes it is' I said meakly as some bloke asked me to step aside whilst he opened it.

'You are going to go through my dirty knickers aren't you?' I said wearily.

Smiling at me he said in a voice that needed Sorchar to translate 'No hen, but you do have something of interest' and then got this funny sort of detector thingy. The thing of interest turned out to be my asthma medication.

As he opened my bag, I clocked my days of dirty knicks and went red with shame. Ladies, please wash your panties before you fly and don't be lazy because it is not nice - no really.

'The tartan keyrings and fluffy birds are nothing to do with me and the Scottish rock wasn't my idea' I said quickly.

Grinning at me, he laughed and said 'Scottish rock is OK but really I should confiscate it as it is bad for your teeth!' and then he picked up my DVD I had made with Gordon beating my dog up - titled 'The Big Fight!'.

Somehow, we got talking about Highland Cows and I excitedly told him that we saw some yesterday and how I really thought they no longer existed and were a thing of the past.

'See, I didnt touch your knickers did I?' He laughed and told me to put my boots and belt back on and sent me on my way.

Praise the lord he didn't because that would have been too much and had he got my bra out, he could have made a hammock.

Anyway, I am home now and Gordon is screaming his head off.

Oh yes, Margaret is so sweet and for those that havent seen her in the flesh, is now going to be the naughty Matron in my stories. I have a part lined up for Gill as well.

Thank you Sorchar for having me, you are a down to earth lovely person and I only wish Abdel could have met you.
