poker in WA
sorry but i have to ask but how is the poker in WA.
i love my poker and play online often. any casinos in the perth area and has poker fever taken off over there like it has in the UK?
are there any BEs out there that play?

There is a big casino at Burswood open 24/7 I think. Poker seems to be a big thing for guys to do of an evening over a beer or ten. On-line doesn't seem to be a big thing, it may even be banned.

There the casino but also at a lot of pubs and clubs. There is a link to where they are. I'll have a look in a bit.

Another poker tragic here in Brissie I play online at Stars but be prepared for some strange playing times as all the decent tournies start at very unsocial hours. 
Free pub poker is available but the standard is usually very poor but it is a good way to meet a few mates and have a beer or 2.

When I went home (Nottingham) at christmas I got to play at Dusk til Dawn all I can say is WOW nothing I have seen in Oz can compete (I would advise a trip before you come over). Brisbane casino has no limit, limit and pot limit so I would assume Perth would be the same.

typical sucked out again as we speak!
on target for a top 10 finish at least and me rockets get busted and out in 14th place. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
oh well thanks for the replies.
i am sure worzel online is ok as i play people in melbourne and was playing someone from perth just the other day.
a game with a few mates would be fine over that beer or 10!
