Poem for the Ladies
A poem from my mate in USA. She sent it me this arvo, apparently her mum wrote it.
Housewives
Man in all their wisdom
And all they have to say
Give women so little credit
For the things they do each day
For men are all important
With titles like Lawyers and such
While women are only mothers
Housewives, teachers, taxi drivers, coaches
Oh and so much!
Its true men bring home the bacon
And are masters of their domain
But if women even get a thank you
It would be such a sweet refrain
At night when work is over
Men can sit down and rest
While women will cook your supper
And prepare the kids their tests
Eventually she will rest
Whenever her day is through
And she has made you comfortable
And done all she can for you
But wives will always love you
And give the respect you demand
So Sir may I salute you
With the middle finger of my right hand!
