Default Pickled onions, dolly mix, hobnobs at Aldi

They may have axed Aunt Bessie again, not the season is the reason - mad

But...

Next week loads of UK goodies to stuff yourself with nice way to beat the doom and gloom on the news right now.

I am now craving the rhubarb and custard sweets.

They had Aunt Bessies last week. A nearby Woolies sell Rhubarb & Custard sweets. If Aldi don't have them, just shout and I'll send you some up.

Wispa Golds imported from the UK are in Coles again, have been for a few weeks now in my local one - possibly longer as I don't tend to look in the chocolate aisle that much!

A number of products are made under the Aunt Bessies name, I think on this thread they might be referring to frozen yorkshire puddings - if so, I can never understand why people don't make them as they're reallly easy to do.

It all comes down to poms and their love of highly processed food - it's in their DNA

Not all of us, I don't have that! And it's the yanks who are the kings when it comes to processed foods.

Not at all. I make ours all the time and they're way way better than Aunt Bessies. However both daughters love yorkies and it's very very easy to shove one or two in the oven for four minutes when they want a quick snack. Saves making up the batter and having to make huge ones or have the batter go off in the fridge.

Thats why I get them, quick and easy to do, and much less clearing up afterwards

Yep me too especially when hubby is doing the cooking lol.

Also I have never met so many people who dont cook from scratch as I have since coming over here. I cook everything from scratch especially my cakes which are always in demand at work.
