Pet insurance query!
Anyone heard of or used this lot? Would appreciate some feedback please...

Our boy had bloat (twisted gut) last year and the total cost was $8500. When we told the vet he was with Petplan she said "That's good, some of the others find any excuse not to pay out, but you won't have a problem with Petplan". The only problem we had was the shock of having to find the money first, then claim it back, but with lots of help from family we managed it & Petplan paid out within 2 weeks of receiving the claim.

Yes, he's back to his normal self now, and doesn't even realise just how lucky he was that hubby works nights & found him in time.

Vets Bills can be stunningly high - we paid over $3500 for a cruciate ligament fix on our moggie. Even our normal vet thought that was rather a bit much but unfortunately it was [we thought at the time] an emergency vet hospital job.
