Who's in? ...
I'm having a bash at the Channel Nine 12km run alongside a few of my Multiplex buddies ...
God help me.

Good luck.
You never know, I might join you some day - I've managed to get to 9 kms on my cross trainer

I'm only doing it because we have a hospitality tent arranged for City Beach where I can ... *cough* ... "re-hydrate" at the end ...
9kms on the cross trainer ... that's a good effort gal.
Get your entry in for the lads ...

We walked it with our daughter (9) last year and finished just ahead of the guy in a suit of armour - 2 1/4hrs or there about. I am tempted to try it on my own this time and aim for 90 mins alternating between sprinting and walking (some us were built for power rather than endurance!)

Do you know of any running clubs in Perth? We are coming over in Nov and I want to join a sporty club, rather than a gym, in an aim to get fit, and to meet people.
Thanks

It ain't the same I am sorry to say. I can easily do 12km on the cross-trainer but 1km at a time on the treadmill is about my limit.

Good luck if you decide to do it again this year - break a leg
