Perth Chilli Festival - Araluen
Did anyone go to the Chilli Festival this weekend?
We did and took a friend who like his chilli sauce to be incendiary. He thought most of the 'extra-hots' were OK but one was VERY hot. After we'd left the festival, he decided he should a bought a bottle.
Of course, we can't remember who made it. I do know it was called 'Afterburner' and was from a stall near the cookery demo theatre.
Tried googling but too many results.
Don't suppose anyone can help?

Only links I could find were American.
Have you rung the Araluen Botanic Park - 08-9496 1171 or email -
[email protected] that's the info that comes up on info about the festival.

We were at the festival on Saturday too. Have just had a look through some of the leaflets we picked up but can't see an "Afterburner". There is one called "Morning Afterburn" (!) though which was one of the really hot ones with a 10/10 rating. It's from www.thechillifactory.com. I've got a list of stockists in the leaflet if you need more info. Better put your loo rolls in the fridge now

Family ( who were tasting lots ) think they tried Afterburner on a stall that also sold Desert Heat, which we bought. Made by a company called Habaneros 4 Gringos. Just looked at the label and they are in Malaga - Tel no - 92491657. Give them a call and see if they do the Afterburner.
Good Luck
