Default Perth broadband recommendations - NOR?

Hi folks,

We get the keys to our rental on Friday I am trying to organise phone and broadband. A few people have recommended iinet, has anyone used them? I've been told to avoid Telstra. I am currently using an optus dongle that is eating up the gigs, I am only using it for basic internet, no skype or youtube and I used 2gb in 3 weeks!
Any recommendations would be gratefully received, or any to avoid too!

Cheers
Liz

We are NOR and have been in our rental 2 years and 3 months. We've had iiNet from day one for phone and broadband and they've been great.

Just phone them up and they will organise both phone and broadband for you. (Have a look at their website first so you know which plan you want.)

iinet are pretty much the best there is. They aren't the cheapest but in the 5 years we have been with them we have only had 1 issue and it was dealt with efficiently and quickly.

Thanks for all your replies, it seems that iinet are the ones to go with, now I need to know if you are naked or not, ooh err missus! And if you are naked, can you use a phone card on it for international calls, or is it cheap enough anyway?

I agree. We've been with iiNet since arriving. I would add though that they are good as long as you are connected to an exchange with iiNets own equipment and not just reselling Telstra(Crap connection most of the time and costs more).

We didn't go "naked". We had the normal phone and ADSL broadband.

I'd phone them and ask them those questions.

iinet. I have never had a problem with them in over 4 years. My DL cap has doubled and the cost has stayed the same. They also have a great 'free' zone for certain downloads/content and now also have Naked DSL. They have an internet TV setup called FetchTV coming soon.

Recommended.

I agree iinet are great. Much faster in my 'burb than Amnet who I was with before.
