Well to me it's a good thing

I currently finish work at 7, so if I need to get something on my way home that's too big for Steve to get on his motorbike then I now can.

I love Perth with all it's little idiosyncrasies, but we do need to move forward a little with things like this.

Unfortunately a lot of people don't want change purely because it is change.

Someone I work with voted against daylight saving purely because "I don't like change" and her attitude is the same with things around the office. "I don't want to do it like that, even if it's better, cos it's always been done this way"

My biggest gripe is the hypocritical nature of IGA - they are happy to open late and on Sundays (and charge high prices) but don't want anyone else to do so.

And I find the veg in my local IGA is pretty crappy, I refuse to buy it unless I have NO other option

And they say that their reason for blocking it is to prevent Coles and Woloworths from achieving more dominance.

I'm all for more dominance if it means better value.

Yeah IGA is the worst quality out of all of them. They have IGAs in NSW and Victoria, do they complain about the other shops opening on Sundays?
