Increasingly, when I go to the shops or on public transport, I am overwhelmed by somebody's stench.
I can only assume people either don't wash or don't use deodorant, (or both) but in a hot climate it's really disgusting.
Do other BE's encounter this on a regular basis?

When I was in Brisbane I use to get all the smelly one's sit next to me on the train, I use to attaract them it seemed, but now in NSW I drive to work, no more suffering.
I use to hold my nose all my friends use to say dont embrasse us, I use to say I embrasse you & they dont.
I have no shame if someone smell I'll make sure they know, there is no excause.

with a bit of stale whippet thrown in for good measure.

Yes. I arrested one yesterday. I actually had to hose out the pod in the van when I got back from the Watchouse, it stank that much in there

I'm now over 70. Did you know that people in our age group don't have to wash or use deodorant because we never smell, so long as we change our clothes with the seasons everything is OK.
On a recent coach trip in USA the guide said that we could split our luggage, take one case of all the things that we need and leave the other on the coach. I said we'll leave all of ours, puzzled look from him so I said well we are on holiday, no need to wash or get changed.
