Default Paslode Nail Guns???

I'm a carpenter who is emigrating to the sunshine coast on the 8th September.

I'm not going to bring my 110v power toolos as i heard they don't use this voltage.

I have 1st & 2nd Fix paslode nail guns and was going to bring them with me but i don't know how easy it is getting the Nails over there.

Can anyone help and let me know if they are common in OZ?????

Many Thanks

David (jut over 6 weeks to go till my wife and i move down under WooHoo!!)

not sure I can help much but H is an apprentice plumber and spends his time salivating over Paslodes on the internet.
Apparently "all" his workmates have them (sounds like schooldays again) and he wants one.

No idea of the nail sizes but they are sold and used here....and are v expensive so it seems.

Try googling Mitre 10, Total Tools for more info.

They are available from most hardware stores, but you would need to check with Paslode to see if your UK model gun will be able to take Australian made nails, as sometimes overseas guns won't take the nails.

PS, just to get in before some smart comments from others, I work in hardware and deal with tools everyday.

Hey David,

For your info ye mate you get nails here i brought my paslodes with me last year and mine work fine,I had to buy new aussie paslode chargers for the guns as your power tools need to be tested and tagged every 3 months for working on most sites (Health&Safety) me thinks its a stealth tax
