I remember the movie that made her famous, one night in Paris.....:sneaky:

Re: paris

Apparently the original judge was livid, because he specifically set out a condition that she could not serve her sentence at home!
I think it's good she's going/gone back inside, that's where you are supposed to serve a prison sentence! Maybe she'll gain some weight and come out looking a bit healthier. :)

I think everyone would have thought alot more off her if she had of just put her head down got on with it done her time!!

Yeah without a doubt, do the crime......

Centurion Jun 8th 2007 10:08 pm

Re: paris

She may be generally a laughable person - however justice has not been done as the sentence was completely disproportionate to the crime involved. People are bleating on about how she shouldnt be treated differently - i completely agree - problem is that she received a sentence way beyond what a normal person would have got. The usual expected would be a telling off and a small fine...

If you look beyond the hate culture that surrounds her and into the details of the case shes got a pretty raw deal I reckon.

I think it's a joke that she's been put inside for a crime like that.

How people can be pleased that she's suffering beggars belief, what the hell has she ever done to them.

Blimey Fraser ! she is hardly suffering. She is locked up for 23 hours a day with 1 hour to shower/ watch tv. I know that cant be very pleasant but she is only in there for 3 weeks, and then will be getting paid a reported 1 million for her journal when she gets out ! ( i would swap places with her no problem ! )

I just don't see what's to celebrate about someone being in prison, I wouldn't wish it on anyone it isn't nice.

Comments like "best news I've heard all year" is a joke.

I didn't say she shouldn't be punished for her crime, I said people shouldn't be pleased that she's suffering. She made a mistake and she's very privileged so let's all gloat at her misfortune.

Well, let's be accurate.

People in Darfur in the famine are 'suffering'.

DO NOT CLICK ON THIS LINK UNLESS YOU WANT TO SEE A STARVING CHILD

Paris Hilton does not actually know suffering. It appears she's being taught a lesson, which had you and I also done, we would be 'learning' too.

Money can only buy you so much privilege.

Actually most wouldn't she was made an example of because of who she is.

I can't think of one good thing she's done, I can't think of anything she's done that bothers me either.

She's only a celebrity because people care, if they didn't she wouldn't be.

Re: paris

I dont wish her to be there for any vindictive reason. I want her to be there to learn a lesson and that is why the judge sent her there.
She needs a good hard lesson in growing up and realising she has to live by the same rules as the rest of us.
Yes it is tough on her, but it needs to be. She does deserve it for putting other peoples lives at risks for her own selfish pleasure. She has no sense of responsibility to others
