When you get here and read the newspapers - or what passes for them, and listen to the radio, you will understand why Australians talk like idiots.

Sometimes it's like listening to Del Boy talking french. Whole sentences can be uttered by the news caster that are incomprehensible to anyone not raised here.

yesterday morning on the channel 10 morning show - I think, the one with the not too bright brunette and chap with the shiny white teeth - they were talking about chihuahua's and pronounced it 'chi who a who a' couldnt stop laughing for the rest of the day!
